01

Observe

A project usually begins somewhere outside jewellery: a piece of architecture, a landscape, an old object, a stone, the way light falls.

02

Reduce

The literal picture gets stripped away until only the logic is left: proportion, rhythm, repetition, geometry, material.

03

Draw

Sketching tests the silhouette, the scale and how repeated elements sit next to each other.

04

Model

CAD brings in dimensional discipline. Construction, setting clearances and proportion can be checked properly.

05

Test

Material, wearability, articulation and manufacturing push back on decisions that looked settled in a render.

06

Refine

Things get removed, adjusted or repeated until the object holds the original idea more clearly than the first version did.
